So I went and wrote up some unit information for Mark in PoR/RD, ha, haha. I'll share it here, I went a little overboard...
Path of Radiance
Availability:unhide Mark is able to be recruited during chapter 8. If the east courtyard is entered with a player-controlled unit, Mark will appear from the north-eastern forest and move towards Ike, Titania, or Soren, whoever is nearer, joining.
Recruiting Mark is a challenge given how much of the map needs to be crossed – Mark will flee if dealt fatal damage before being recruited, but the player will get a preview of Mark's ability, which is that Mark will roll the player back to the last player phase and then flee at the start of it. Mark joins at level 1 and is carrying no items except for a Stiletto that, due to class as a mage, cannot be equipped. It is best just to give it to Volke or Sothe, as Mark's strength is too low to make decent use of it even once promoted.
Mark has the locked "???" ability that allows selection of any turn to restart from, player phase.
If Mark takes fatal damage, the ability will forcibly reset to the most recent player phase. If Mark has an A-rank support and is deployed with that unit, the ability will also trigger if that unit takes fatal damage
If Volke reaches A-rank support with Mark, "???" will be renamed to "Secret"

Mark retains the "???" (or, renamed "Secret") ability which functions in the same manner as in Path of Radiance, with the notable difference that a specific move can be selected per player phase.
The ability still auto-triggers if Mark is dealt lethal damage, or, if a unit Mark has an A-rank support with (including transferred support) is dealt lethal damage. The difference is not in effect when the ability auto-triggers, the ability simply loads to the most recent player phase.rehide

Mark retains the "???" (or, renamed "Secret") ability which functions in the same manner as in Path of Radiance, with the notable difference that a specific move can be selected per player phase.
The ability still auto-triggers if Mark is dealt lethal damage, or, if a unit Mark has an A-rank support with (including transferred support) is dealt lethal damage. The difference is not in effect when the ability auto-triggers, the ability simply loads to the most recent player phase.rehide
